About Matt

I grew up going to open houses in Scottsdale, Arizona with my mother, who studied interior design and used to pretend my room was a model home and would organize it in that way. When I was in my early teens my dream was to become a film director. I made hundreds of short films and eventually studied film production, with an emphasis in directing at Chapman University in Southern California. After graduating I worked at DreamWorks and as an assistant to a few Hollywood film directors and producers. While pursuing my dreams I became interested in investing in real estate and ended up purchasing my first place in Los Angeles at the age of 25. I flipped that property and invested in Palm Springs. As life took me different directions I had the opportunity to move to the Pacific Northwest with my husband. His dream was to breed world-class Clydesdales, something he did with his father as a little boy. As my life changed directions I leaned into my love of real estate and became a broker in Washington, later expanding to Oregon. My first year in real estate I was honored into the Berkshire Hathaway Honor Society and have continued to grow my business through referrals. What sets me aside from other brokers is my creative eye and marketing skills. With my film background I am able to artistically showcase properties and with the eXp Realty brand I am able to market them globally. I believe in creating an experience that goes beyond just the transaction by building community, life-long friendships and partnerships — as well as mentoring others.
